Andrew Tucker is a PGA Member and a Golf Professional in Denver, Colorado. He has been a Golf Professional for thirty-five years, a PGA Member since 1991 and achieved PGA Certified Instructor status in 2010, an elite classification obtained by fewer than 5% of PGA Professionals. Andrew was introduced to golf at age seven by his father Ralph, a career naval officer and grew up playing golf at naval base courses along the eastern seaboard. During this formative time he received professional instruction from numerous PGA Professionals including Jack Burke of Newport (Rhode Island) Country Club. Andrew played high school golf in North Kingstown, Rhode Island and competed with distinction in state and local golf tournaments. Andrew graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
After choosing golf as a career, Andrew served as an Assistant Professional at private clubs from the gulf region to the pacific northwest. In 1996 he was named the Head Professional at Woodmoor Country Club in Monument, Colorado and in 2000 he became Head Professional at Lakewood Country Club. In 2007 Andrew was offered the opportunity to immerse himself in golf teaching and served as Lakewood Country Club's Director of Instruction from 2007 to 2019. He now serves on the staff at The Links Golf Course in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Andrew has conducted over 12,000 private and group lessons to golfers of all ages and skill levels including women, men, juniors, and enthusiastically promotes golf to players with a wide range of disabilities including wounded warriors and restricted-motion students.
